Copyright & Takedown Policy

1. Our Position

FreePortal is an informational resource. We do not host, distribute, mirror, or link to pirated software, cracked games, ROM files, or any copyrighted material. Every guide links only to the copyright owner's or vendor's own official website.

Because we do not accept user-uploaded content, we do not operate a hosting service and do not claim the Section 512(c) safe harbor. This page exists so that a rights holder can reach us quickly if they believe something on the site is wrong — not as a statutory safe-harbor notice.

If you believe a page on FreePortal infringes your copyright, please follow the procedure below.

2. How to Report a Copyright Concern

Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line "Copyright Notice". To let us act quickly, include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  • The exact URL(s) on freeportal.net where the material you object to appears.
  • Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We review every notice. If the claim is valid, we will remove or amend the material promptly and confirm what we changed.

3. If You Believe We Removed Something in Error

Write to the same address with the subject line "Counter-Notice" and include your contact details, a description of the material that was removed, the URL it appeared at, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.

4. Repeat Infringement

FreePortal does not knowingly publish infringing content. Any material confirmed as infringing is removed and the page is corrected. Because we do not accept third-party contributions, there is no contributor account to terminate.

5. Trademarks

All product names, logos, and brand names referenced on the site — including Steam, Minecraft, Roblox, Fortnite, Genshin Impact, GTA V, Discord, VS Code, Ollama, and others — are the property of their respective owners. Their use here is for identification and educational purposes only, and does not imply affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.
