Terms of Service
Last updated: October 23, 2026
1. Acceptance
By using FreePortal.net (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. What FreePortal Is
FreePortal is an independent informational resource. We publish tutorials, tips, and links to official third-party websites. We do not host, distribute, or provide downloads of any software, game, or file.
All links point to the official websites of the products described. FreePortal is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand referenced on the Site unless explicitly stated.
3. Age Requirement
The Site is intended for users aged 13 or older. If you are under the digital age of consent in your jurisdiction, you may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
4. No Warranty
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that any guide is complete, current, or error-free, or that any third-party download is safe, lawful in your jurisdiction, or available. Software installation is performed entirely at your own risk.
5. Third-Party Websites
External links take you to sites we do not control. Your use of those sites is governed by their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, download safety, licensing, availability, or practices.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Site in breach of applicable law.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Site or its infrastructure.
- Scrape, copy, or republish Site content without written permission, except for short quotations with attribution and a link.
- Misrepresent FreePortal as the official source of any product, or as endorsed by any vendor.
- Use the Site to distribute malware, conduct phishing, or attempt unauthorised access to any system.
7. Intellectual Property
Product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Content we create — guides, page layouts, and original graphics — is owned by FreePortal and may not be reproduced without permission. You may link to any page.
8. Copyright Complaints
If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, follow the procedure in our Copyright & Takedown Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FreePortal and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or any third-party resource linked from it.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Site is limited to USD $100 or the amount you paid us to use the Site, whichever is greater. Because the Site is free, this means our liability is capped at USD $100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where you are a consumer, this section is subject to your mandatory rights under the consumer laws of your country of residence, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where English law applies.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify FreePortal against claims, losses, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or wilful misconduct.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and FreePortal submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection rules apply, those rules may also apply to you and cannot be excluded by this clause. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
13. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy, are the entire agreement between you and FreePortal regarding the Site.
